All Fall Down - Tom Bale

All Fall Down starts off with a family sitting in their garden on a sunny afternoon, listening to music and enjoying a BBQ. However it soon turns into a day they will never forget! A dying man and the words HELP ME outside their garden.

You are then drawn into the investigation that the police undertake, an investigation that the police rule was just an unfortunate event. However, the question in my head was"surely the music must have led the man to them". It can't be a coincidence that he was in the area at the back of their houses.

Tom Bale has that knack of drawing the reader into the depths of his books, making the reader feel that they are part of the scene and with every page that I read I felt that I was there and experiencing the events that followed, the twists and turns that you experience with a good book.

This was an eventful read, and not one for the faint hearted, the subject matter can be a fraction hard to read but I had to keep reading even if at times I had to put my kindle down and go and make a drink to get my breath back.

Excellent book by Tom Bale and my thanks go to Netgalley and the publishers Bookouture for letting me read and review this book.
