The Doll House - Phoebe Morgan #Review

The Doll House – Phoebe Morgan

About the Book

Corinne’s life might look perfect on the outside, but after three failed IVF attempts it’s her last chance to have a baby. And when she finds a tiny part of a doll house outside her flat, it feels as if it’s a sign.
But as more pieces begin to turn up, Corinne realises that they are far too familiar. Someone knows about the miniature rocking horse and the little doll with its red velvet dress. Someone has been inside her house…

How does the stranger know so much about her life? How long have they been watching? And what are they waiting for…?

My Review

The Doll House is a book I read courtesy of Pigeon Hole and therefore was one I had to read on my phone as can’t be transferred to my kindle, or if it could I wasn’t sure how to do this.

I found The Doll House a rather intriguing book.  We meet Corinne who appears to have what looks like a perfect life, a loving boyfriend and plans to have children via IVF.

However, we are introduced to little pieces of The Doll House left for Corinne in strange places like outside her flat to name one.

The story is alternating chapters each with an air of mystery around them.

We also hear from Corinne’s sister Ashley who also tells some parts of the story.

The story comes together, and all the pieces of the jigsaw fitted as they should do.  I found this a nice debut book from Phoebe Morgan and an author who I’ll be keeping an eye on.
